NRS Rev360 Portal: How to Register and Log In (2026)
Rev360 replaced TaxPro Max on 30 April 2026. How existing NRS taxpayers log in, how new taxpayers register, and what to do if your email never arrives.

In this guide▾
The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS, the renamed Federal Inland Revenue Service) launched Rev360 on 30 April 2026 as the country's new tax portal at selfservice.nrs.gov.ng, replacing TaxPro Max. As of October 2026, the rollout is still phased: if you're a medium or emerging taxpayer (roughly, annual turnover under ₦5 billion) you've moved to Rev360 already; large, government and non-resident taxpayers are still filing on TaxPro Max while NRS extends the new platform to them. If you already had a TaxPro Max account, you don't register again — NRS migrates your profile and sends new login details to the email it already has on file. If you're registering for the first time, you create your account directly on Rev360.
What is Rev360, and do you need to move to it now?
Rev360 is NRS's single platform for tax registration, filing returns, paying tax, requesting refunds and applying for a Tax Clearance Certificate — functions that used to be split across TaxPro Max and separate processes. It's part of the wider shake-up under the Nigeria Tax Administration Act 2025 — see our breakdown of Nigeria's new tax laws if you haven't kept up with what else changed this year. Templars law firm's client alert, published two weeks after launch, confirms it replaces TaxPro Max for companies, business names, non-resident entities and individuals under federal tax, with role-based access so you can give your accountant a login without handing over your own password.
The move isn't instant for everyone. Per UUBO's 2026 tax update, the rollout started 30 April 2026 with medium and emerging taxpayers, and extends afterwards to government, large and non-resident taxpayers — who keep using TaxPro Max in the meantime. Here's how that breaks down:
| Taxpayer category | Platform right now (Oct 2026) |
|---|---|
| Emerging (turnover under ₦1 billion) and medium (₦1bn–₦5bn) | Rev360 |
| Large (turnover above ₦5 billion), government, non-resident | TaxPro Max, until NRS extends Rev360 to them |
If you're not sure which bracket you're in, that's set by your turnover, not by what you'd prefer to use — check with your tax office or accountant before assuming either portal is wrong for you. For more on Nigeria's tax system generally, see our Nigeria hub.
How to log in to Rev360 if you already filed on TaxPro Max
- Check the email address NRS has on file. Your historical TaxPro Max profile, filings, payment history, withholding tax credit notes and account balances transfer automatically — but your new Rev360 credentials go to that registered email, so if it's outdated, update it with your tax office first.
- Watch your inbox for the Rev360 notice from NRS. UUBO confirms new login details are issued to existing taxpayers through their existing email addresses — you don't fill in a registration form.
- Log in at selfservice.nrs.gov.ng with the credentials in that email, then reset the temporary password immediately. Templars' alert specifically flags this: you'll be required to change the one-time password on first access.
- Change your username and password to something you'll remember, since UUBO notes you can switch the issued login details to your preferred ones once you're in.
- Review your migrated data before you file anything. Check your withholding tax credits, carried-forward losses, VAT credit balances and fixed asset balances match what you had on TaxPro Max, and raise any mismatch with NRS or your tax adviser before relying on the new figures.
How to register as a new taxpayer on Rev360
If you've never had a TaxPro Max account — a newly incorporated company, a new business name, or an individual registering for the first time — you register directly on Rev360 rather than waiting for an email.
- Get your Tax ID first if you don't have one. Companies are issued a Tax ID automatically once the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) completes incorporation; individuals get one once they're registered with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), per Leadership's report on the platform. If you can't find yours, you can look it up online using your CAC registration details or your National Identification Number (NIN) — see our guide on getting a TIN in Nigeria using your NIN if you're starting from scratch, or CAC registration costs if you haven't incorporated yet.
- Go to selfservice.nrs.gov.ng and start the registration. Templars' alert confirms new taxpayers register directly through this portal, and that the process is "predominantly digital" — NRS may still ask for physical verification in some cases, so don't be surprised if you're asked to visit a tax office to confirm your details.
- Complete your profile with your Tax ID, CAC or NIN details, since Rev360 checks these against the national databases NRS now integrates with rather than asking you to re-type everything by hand.
- Keep your login details somewhere safe — once you're set up, this is the account you'll use for every future filing, payment and Tax Clearance Certificate request.
If your Rev360 email never arrives, or the password reset fails
This is the single biggest complaint in the professional alerts covering the switch. A few things to try, in order:
- Check spam and promotions folders first — a one-time email from a government platform to thousands of taxpayers at once is exactly the kind of message filters flag.
- Confirm the email NRS has on file is actually yours and current. If you changed your email since you last touched TaxPro Max, NRS is sending your credentials to an address you no longer use.
- Contact your tax office directly rather than waiting indefinitely — ask them to confirm your migration status and resend your Rev360 access details to a verified email.
- Loop in your tax adviser if you have one. Given the scale of the migration, Templars specifically advises taxpayers to independently verify their records rather than assume everything transferred cleanly.
What to watch out for
Any time a government platform resets millions of logins by email, phishing follows. Be wary of any message asking you to click a link and "confirm" your Rev360 password outside selfservice.nrs.gov.ng itself, or any site that isn't that exact domain. NRS doesn't need your password by email or phone to fix an access problem — only your tax office does, and even then, you should be the one calling them, not the other way round.
The second thing worth your time: don't assume your migrated numbers are right just because the platform says so. Templars' guidance is blunt about this — "taxpayers should independently verify the completeness and accuracy of migrated records" — so pull your last TaxPro Max statement of account before you file your first Rev360 return and compare the two.
Frequently asked questions
What happened to TaxPro Max?
It isn't shut down everywhere at once. NRS is phasing it out as taxpayer categories move to Rev360 — emerging and medium taxpayers moved from 30 April 2026, while large, government and non-resident taxpayers keep using TaxPro Max until NRS extends Rev360 to them.
Do I need a new TIN or Tax ID to use Rev360?
No. If you already have a Tax Identification Number, it carries over — NRS migrates your existing profile rather than issuing a new number. If you're registering fresh, your Tax ID comes from your CAC incorporation (companies) or NIMC/NIN registration (individuals).
I didn't get a Rev360 login email. What do I do?
Check spam first, then confirm the email NRS has on file for you is current. If it's outdated or you still can't log in, contact your tax office directly to verify your migration status and have your access details resent.
Can my accountant log in to file for me on Rev360?
Yes. Rev360 uses role-based access, so you can grant a tax adviser or consultant their own access rights without sharing your primary username and password.
Is Rev360 only for companies, or do individuals use it too?
Both. Rev360 covers companies, business names, non-resident entities and individuals who are liable for federal tax in Nigeria — not just registered businesses. If you're an employee checking what comes off your salary rather than filing your own returns, that's PAYE, not Rev360 — run your numbers through our Nigeria PAYE calculator or read how PAYE is calculated.
Will my old TaxPro Max filing history show up on Rev360?
It should. NRS says taxpayer profiles, compliance history, filings, payments and account balances migrate automatically. Check this yourself against your last TaxPro Max statement before you file anything new, since the professional alerts covering the switch all flag migration accuracy as the main early risk.
