These terms apply to your use of swiftpesa.co.ke ("SwiftPesa", "we", "us"), including its guides, calculators, chat assistant and Toolkit products. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Using the site

You may read, share links to and use SwiftPesa for your own personal and business purposes. You agree not to:

• copy or republish our guides, calculators or Toolkit outputs in bulk, or present them as your own;
• scrape the site automatically in a way that overloads it;
• try to break, probe or get around the site's security or payment systems;
• use the chat assistant or contact channels to send spam, abuse or unlawful content; or
• use the site for anything unlawful.

Quoting a short excerpt with a link back to the original guide is welcome.

Information on the site

Our content is general information, not professional advice. Please read our disclaimer. We work to keep figures accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that everything is complete, current or error-free.

Toolkit purchases

• Prices are shown in the currency stated before you pay, and are charged through M-Pesa via our payment provider, IntaSend.
• Your product is delivered on screen once payment is confirmed, together with a link you can use to open it again. Keep that link.
• Toolkit products are digital and are delivered immediately, so they are generally not refundable. If you were charged but did not receive your product, or were charged twice, email [email protected] with the phone number used and the M-Pesa reference, and we will fix it or refund you.

Intellectual property

The SwiftPesa name, logo, guides, calculators, images we created and Toolkit products are owned by SwiftPesa or used with permission. Trademarks of banks, mobile money providers and other companies belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Links and ads

The site links to third-party websites and shows ads from third-party networks. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, SwiftPesa is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by relying on information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute.
